Question by newmom101: Help with prototype and manufacturing a baby bag?
I have a great design for a baby bag. I have gone as far as researching the design. There is nothing on the market like it. Also, I have sketches of the designs with dementions and different fabric ideas. However, I do not know where to go from here. Any suggestions as to where I should start?

Start by looking at the companies that would be interested in manufacturing your design. Write up a detailed overview of the product. Work step by step through the process in constructing the prototype. Note down all the materials you use, and their advantages and disadvantages. Take photos and make structural diagrams. Compile this all into a file, and write a letter with a brief overview to the CEO of the company you think would be most interested in producing your product. Send letters to a few other companies and try and schedule a meeting to look at your design files and prototype. From then on it’s up to you to sell it!
