Query by Charles C: can you get a ground surface finish on stainless steel plate?
I have a job to do and it wants to be a ground/milled finish but the job is to big to go into a vice so i cant mill it and as its not magnetic so i can not put it on a magnetic base is there anybody out there who could point me in the direction to achieve this in some way or is there any suppliers who can this

five-axis CNC milling machines are traditionally utilised for surface polishing… Several can polish the size of semi-trucks…
If precision milling is what you demand, then milling truly is the only way to go…
